About the position:
Location: Érd, HU, home office: 1 office day/week
Company: international, German-owned
Competencies:
- Master’s degree in business Administration, Engineering or relevant field
- Experience in automotive industry
- Purchasing background: at least 3 years’ of experience
- End-to-end purchasing experience, especially in strategic field
- Fluent English knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of technical and commercial ratio projects
- Communicate and evaluate enough needed capacity at responsible suppliers for company needs
- Localization material for local production
- Liaising between your own organization and the suppliers with regard to coordinating the production process and the product development projects
- Actively stimulating and supervising cost-cutting measures and Continuous Improvement projects, both in your own organization and at suppliers
- Managing the responsible commodities (metal) within the organization by approved KPI’s
- Create ABC Analyze and procurement strategy
- Development and definition of the strategic purchasing goals in cooperation with the Regional Director PUR for responsible commodities
- Investigation and monitoring technology trends for responsible commodities
- Price negotiations series
- Supplier evaluation in the region (local for local and then local for global)
- Develop “Awarding design” and bundling with final negotiation / awarding of new parts with project buyers.
- Proper reporting based on company purchasing requirements.
