EHS Engineer
Your tasks:
- Develop, implement and continuously improve of health and safety policies, internal regulations and programs according to legal/company requirements
- Train regularly new and current employees
- Identify risks for health and safety, offer preventive solutions
- Frequently control if safety regulations are effectively in place
- Lead 3rd party safety audits
- Lead incident investigations, report it according to legal requirements and coordinate implementation of efficient preventive actions
- Communicate with local authorities
- Work together with Ruag group’s health and safety representatives
- Report KPI’s and action implementation status for local and Ruag group leaders
- Support of machine/equipment implementation processes from safety perspectives
Your profile:
- Engineering education in Safety Management or similar field
- 2 years of job experience as a Safety Manager or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials and practices, as well in Hungarian legal safety regulations
- Good investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to details
- Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate
- Good communication ability
- Fluency in English and Hungarian
- Good IT knowledge
