Tasks:
- Develop and execute regional and local Procurement and Supplier Strategies for specific spend categories
- Secure internal customer support and conduct procurement activities for direct material and services for Central Europe, Eurasia, Turkey, Poland, Adria and Romania
- Lead and deliver high quality, innovative category management across spend area securing availability of goods and services
- Contract- and Supplier relationship management including supplier development and innovation
- Execute professional tenders (RFx) including establishing and negotiating contracts
- Develop and execute professional sourcing strategies for the assigned spend categories in Europe & Africa Segment, regional (Europe & Africa operations and markets) and/or local as well as execute constant market observation on price-, supplier-, market- product development and innovation.
- Consolidate requirements in category management from across Europe & Africa as input for global category strategies
- Build working relationships with key stakeholders, other category teams, suppliers and external partners
- Participate in in-house and external trainings, expanding own knowledge and developing new skills related to the position
- Flexibility for ocassional business travel to CEERT countries
Expectations:
- College/University degree in Business admin/Engineering or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in similar position and industry
- Experience with strategic sourcing and execution of professional tenders, contract – and supplier relationship management
- Proficiency in project management
- Background in engineering and/ or quality assurance advantage
- Experience in procurement processes
- Ability to build relationships, influence and act as an expert across the organization up to Plant / Market Procurement Management level
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – advanced Excel
- Communicative knowledge of English – oral and written form
- Organised, proactive person with good communication skills
- Self-motivated person with a strong work ethic, integrity and trust
